Clipboard Theme is base on just that, a clipboard. My many thanks to Epson and to my good fortune to have spotted a good deal on eBay. Some investments pay off better than others. Needless to say, my Expression 1600 has earned my respect and praise for this awesome, high-resolution scanner. Clipboard Theme is just one of its many dividends.
.....Like Parchment Stone and Watermark, Clipboard Theme is well suited for a leadership seminar or even as a newsletter template. Whether you opt to use it in leadership development or as a general Keynote theme, Clipboard promises and delivers versatility.
.....I am especially fond of its elegant bevels and rounded corners. If your clever, you can match the background color to the gray boarder of the Clipboard slide. This results in a graphic embedded within the page effect.
.....Again, think about your overarching message that you wish to deliver. A clipboard carries the image of important information securely held in place. Is this to point of your presentation, to securely deliver important information? |

RIGHT: Parchment Theme:

And what is it that comes to mind when your hear the word parchment Let us look it up on About.com and see what comes up. What we find is that parchment is not actually paper but rather sheep or goat skin which is better referred to as vellum. The flawless surface of vellum allows for fine line drawings and artful calligraphy.
.....The question is, of course, what is the implied image of parchment? The answer is something old, cherished, and therefore valuable. With this in mind, Parchment Theme would be ideal for any presentation in which the speaker wishes to convey the impression of traditional knowledge. Little things mean a lot.

Thus far we have learned that selecting the right theme for you project requires little more than asking the right question, balance with good judgment. Therefore, what does granite bring to mind? Something solid, rock solid, immutable, unmovable, and something made of the hardest stuff on earth.
.....Granite Theme made its debut on the inaugural Keynote application but was quietly retired with the second version. I saved a copy and glad I did. Not surprising, when I started to develop Keythemes, Granite was one of the first to receive a Photoshop overhaul.
.....The rendition here is of Granite Slide #8 with three frames laid one on top of the other in ascending order. In pyramid fashion, the builds the upon the the underlying idea of something solid and permanent. And what leadership development seminar would not like to transfer this message to all those in attendance? |

Perhaps I have played the game of implied message too far. Zolite Theme, being a in-house creation, is an exception to all the rules. Just where does it fit in, what is its message. I can not answer these question any more than I can recall just how I created it, somewhere in Photoshop but just how I have not a clue.
.....Regardless, I like it if for no other reason than for its artful design and metallic sheen. What therefore comes to mind when we look at Zolite? Something clean, carefully crafted, and something detailed with purpose. Does this give you any ideas? I would certainly think so. |
