In as much as I started Keythemes to meet my own needs for a Keynote presentation it’s only fitting that half come from Keynote themes. As mentioned earlier, Keythemes enhances an already excellent application. Goldstone is yet another theme rejuvenated into the third-dimension with a little help from Alien Skin and Adobe CS-3.
.....Goldstone would be more apply named Vintage Stone but I tired of ‘stone’ and like gold. I would find it hard indeed to pick my overall favorite theme but Goldstone comes in close to the top. If you need proof, just click on the ‘Buy Now’ icon and you will see.
.....Understand the subtle message transferred by such a simple thing as color. Little things mean a lot because they say a lot. Like the color ‘green’, gold also comes with its own message. One should appreciate that if conducting a seminar in management training or simply designing a newsletter template. Think first about what color will till your story best. The color gold says it all. |

Bonus Slide, not otherwise titled

With color in mind one would initially wonder about including the color ‘gray’ in my collection of Keythemes, but read on:
.....Like black, gray is a color of mourning as well as a formality and is appropriate for the corporate world. The darker the shade of gray implies strength without the negative mystery of over black. It carries an air of masculine sophistication without harking an unintended message.
.....Lighter shades of gray enjoy the same quality of white without being stark and unimaginative. All shades of gray are appropriate for somber occasions, be they a business meeting or wedding. (http://about.com)
.....Thus, Watermark and its companion theme Watermark Page hold intrinsic value when used in the certain settings.

Continuing with the gray tone, Watermark Page picks up the tempo with the lighter element of this. About.com says that gray is an elegant, balanced color, cool and conservative that does not provoke strong emotions.
.....Hence, Watermark and Watermark Page will likely find its way into the inner circles of the financial world and public forums wherever dignity demands an artful conservative ambiance. Watermark Page presented here with the conservative of all the Keynote graphics, dressed only with the header and two inserts sitting atop Slide Number-One.

RIGht: Sandstone Theme:

Sandstone brings us full circle to less mindful days of sunshine and summer vacation. Color again comes to pay. What is it about the various hues of pink, especially when heavily accented by an accompanying photograph.
.....In case you are wondering about the photos featured on this web site, they are all from my private photo album, a collection from a life-time of travels and travails.
.....This photograph is of the Ferryboat Vallejo, birth within the sheltered estuary of Basin-Four, Sausalito, California. It dates back to a foggy winter late afternoon in 1975, to a the soulful nine months I spent living on a houseboat aptly named the Music Box.
.....Oh yes, back to 2008 and Sandstone, which made the final Keytheme cut owing to it’s being my wife’s favorite. Not surprising, it’s now one of mine. I consider Sandstone an appropriate theme for a general Keynote presentation or even as a newsletter template. Think of the possibilities and days now long gone. |

LEFT: Parchment Stone Theme:

Parchment Stone is another gray theme but a totally original one. The basic blueprint started with a high-resolution scan of a piece of parchment that was later transformed by the magic of Photoshop and Alien Skin.
.....I find something appealing about the stone texture; obviously, Keythemes sports four such stone renditions within the entire collection.
.....This theme is searching for a management training seminar or a desktop theme for corporate executive in New York. Someone, somewhere needs to make a strong statement without shouting.
..... I trust that this person would welcome the quiet seclusion of a fog shrouded night inside a houseboat nestled on the quiet banks of Gate-Five, Sausalito… |
