LEFT: Burgundy Theme:
Slide #-8 plus three frames
|
At some point during the creation of Keytheme-Graphics, I began to realize that they held multiple applications. Although they were originally intended as background themes for Keynote and PowerPoint presentations, they do lend themselves nicely to Internet marketing and e-commence in general.
..... With this in mind, a creative individual would find use for Keythemes as a Microsoft Office template or even as themes for Window XP.
..... Well, now that I have successfully inserted all keywords for this page in the first paragraph, let us focus on the individual themes. OK?
..... Burgundy Theme started with upholstery leather leftover from my dinning room chairs. For twelve years this piece of fine leather sat on the bottom shelf of the hutch and for all that time I knew that ‘one day’ it would come in handy, and that it did.

Of course, nothing worth while comes easy. It took a dozen or so high-resolution scan on my Epson Expression 1600 (epson.com/) to achieve just the right color of burgundy leather. You’re right, that’s another $2,000 added to the cost of software, plus thousands more the iMac, keyboard, and Logitech super-mouse. The list goes on.
..... Although Burgundy proved to be a real task to scan, I captured Sedona on the first take. Fact is, I almost trashed the scan without giving it much thought but for whatever reason I imported it into Photoshop and applied Curves to bring out the color. WOW, and am I ever glad i did, because just look at the color!
..... Sedona started with a broken piece of drab brown tile I bought at Home Depot. I wonder now why I even bothered with it, other than the salesman almost gave it to me, I suppose just to be rid of it.
..... When it came time to select a slide for the homepage there was never a second place. Sedona captures to essence of Keytheme-Graphics. Oh yes, the photograph does seem to match or am I just being prejudice? |

RIGHT: Letterpress Stone Theme:
Slide #-8 with two frames & insert
|
Letterpress Stone started with a screenshot of an Apple Keynote theme by the same name. After extensive editing in Photoshop and Eye Candy about the only thing left is the color and even that was altered when adding the stone-like texture.
..... Displayed here with Slide number-8 and two frames (no-10 & 11) along with insert number-9, Letterpress Stone Theme comes with the full set of 15 graphic collection. Although I originally created Slide #8 to showcase a video in my own Keynote presentations, I use it just as much to frame general subjects such as graphs and charts.
..... Whatever, I personally like the color of Letterpress Stone. Green is natures own favorite and with that I have to agree; green is easy and pleasing to the eye and the wallet. So buy Keythemes... |

The next two themes on this page are, like Letterpress, makeover from Keynote. Yes, I sent a copy of Keythemes to Apple but after six months without a reply I gave Cupertino a call but could get no further than customer service. I told them what I had in mind and wanted to know if Apple would have problem with my ‘reinventing’ their Keynote themes.
..... The impression I got was that they probably had better things to do and more important fish to fry. And as everyone knows, Apple has been frying a lot of fish.
..... I agree and have no misgivings about enjoying their excellent artistic taste, so long as I give them and others the credit where it’s due. That and I scoured the Internet and local art stores looking for appropriate paper stock but could not even come close to overall quality of Hardcover.
..... All the better in that Keynote users can seamlessly employ Keythemes with preexisting themes and PowerPoint fans can have the best of both worlds. |

LEFT: Hardcover Page Theme:
Slide #-3 with header and inserts

'Best of both worlds' best describes this rendition of Hardcover, here displayed with combination of the ‘cover’ and the ‘page’ themes. All this to demonstrate how effectively Keythemes adapt to mix and match applications. Whether you need graphics for ecommerce or internet marketing.
..... Here we go again with keywords but I have no options, so please forgive me. So let us forget about Microsoft Office templates and how Keytheme-Graphics might be used for themes for Windows XP and move on to theme page number three and the next five themes. |
